We are a couple from Portland. Amy grew up in the country outside Portland. We both have red hair and love to play music. Want to know more? Feel free to ask!

PHILOSOPHY

That's hard to answer quickly. We are optomistic about people. In America it is easy for life to become selfish and overly concerned with the wrong things. We feel that traveling is an important part of finding perspective.

We participating by treating our hosts very well and doing our best to open our home to travelers. We are always interested in meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting friends and friends of friends at our apartment in Portland. We've couch surfed in Milan, Athens, Paris and Oregon. Have had amazing conversations with good food and amazing places to experience.

We have special interest in learning about the music that other people love. Between the two of us we have a bounty of knowledge, opinion, and general enthusiasm to return the favor. We also really want to see what makes people outside America want to wake up in the morning. We feel a sense of arrogance assuming we have lots to teach. Our traveling experience is about learning from others. Nonetheless we are glad to make ourselves available for whatever sort of conversation or insight you would like to glean.
