CURRENT MISSION

Hi! I’ve just been on a some travels around Canada & a few spots in the USA.. I was gone around 7 weeks and then got a job offer to Darwin while I was away.. so had to cut the travels short (very happy with what I did get done though!) and now I’m here in Darwin & my Main mission is of course meeting the locals and making great friendships here & around the globe!

My name is Kath, and I’m from Melbourne, Australia.
Just landed in Darwin.. and this is going to be my new home town for a while!!
I live for meeting new people & checking out new places.. all around the world.. travel is my passion. Love Yoga, live music & markets

Work to live... I don't live to work! I thrive on meeting new people and finding out about the way we all live so differently around the world & even in other parts of Australia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only surfed 2 places, 1 in California & 1 in Mexico. Both brilliant & I look forward to hosting when I return home to Australia. (From this website!) but I have been lucky to have been connected with strangers all over the world through people I’ve known and then those strangers quickly turn into friends!

Interests

Pretty much any live music, Tasting new foods craft beer & love a gin or red wine, scuba diving, stand up paddle board, many water related sports, Browsing in Thrift shops, & markets, Vintage posters, old/antique furniture, photography, many different kinds of festivals,
Yoga, and relaxing in a hammock!
Hikes, waterfalls & general exploring 4WD exploring is a fave!

I'm a bar or pub person over a nightclub any day!
