About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the best beer Man has to offer.
ABOUT ME
I recently received my Master's Degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Systems Engineering at the University of Liverpool, UK. I work as an engineer for a green energy company in SoCal. I play Ultimate frisbee: the greatest flying disc sport known to man. I love to travel and it is my goal to find the greatest beer Man has to offer. I worship the creator of XKCD. I love rock climbing and snowboarding with a passion.
If my calculations are correct, SLINKY + ESCALATOR = EVERLASTING FUN!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my best friends says it's the best thing EVAH, so she got me into it. I participate by hosting a myriad of people as well as doing local CS stuff and surfing on others' couches.
Interests
I love to read, I play lots of video games, but I balance that with lots of sports and exercise. As I've gotten older I've started to eat a lot healthier and make it a point to work out more. I play Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, I rock climb, and I love to run or walk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The second most amazing thing I've ever seen was the newspaper headline: "32 Midgets Mauled By Lion in Cambodian Ring Fight". You can't see something like that and not read the article.
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling is ridiculously easy; easier than most people make it out to be. You do not need guarantee of a place to stay or a way to get there... all it takes is the willingess to walk out the front door and just keep going, Forest Gump style. It is this philosophy that has allowed me to live in Nicaragua for 6 months, live in Florence, Italy for one summer and move to Liverpool, England for postgraduate school. The day that I wrote this, in fact, I received a card from my mother in the post that said this: "My son, ever since you could say, 'I can tie them myself,' you've been off and running toward whatever life had in store. My love went along with you then, and it goes along with you now.". Seriously, let your mind wander and wander along with it.
