Originally from a suburb of New York City, I lived abroad for 10 years, and I returned in 2022 to live in New York City. I was on-and-off in Kosovo, 8 months in Chile, 1 year in Kenya, and 7 years in India.

I spend most of my time now supporting my wife's Amazon startup; traveling every few weeks; reading on the history of tech and economics; and exploring restaurants around NYC with friends.

Music: mostly hip-hop, I know a lot about '90s era rap. I used to listen to a lot of electronic music and 90s era alternative rock.

Books: I enjoy history of economics and history of technology. Some standouts are Wealth and Poverty of Nations and the Color of Law. I also enjoy a fiction binge every few years - I've tended to read notable American authors like Faulkner, Moorison, Steinbeck, and Bellow.

Movies: ones I can quickly recall are Birdman, American Beauty, Ghost in the Shell, The Act of Killing
