ABOUT ME

For the last three years I worked at studios in Rotterdam, going a bit (like most architects) from job to job. This also offers some great time to travel around! But for the moment I work in the office who disigned The Airport Schiphol, so if you're having problems there, I'm sorry! I was lucky with a house in the centre of Amsterdam at the canal Prinsengracht, next to the Jordaan. I like to read, to cook, long diners, museums, unknown cities, hitchhiking, roodtrips with a camper, chilling in the park, old cinemas, mountains, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, kitesurfing, climbing and soccer.

PHILOSOPHY

The freedom and simple beauty is too good to pass up... (Christopher McCandless - Into the wild)

Music, Movies, and Books

Which made a big impression on me:
Bryce Courteney - The Power of One!! This guy, called PK is a 5 year old hero in the book!! He always makes the best out of all kinds of situations, meets all different kinds of people, from a professor till a guy in prison, called yellow pete, but he notices when people are honest and truly!

Other books who come into my mind are "The Shadow of the Wind" of Carlos Ruis Safon, "Night Train to Lisbon" of Pascal Mercier, and of course the books of Paolo Coelho!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Complete silence, on a dune deep into desert of Morocco, just no sound, never experienced that, awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

To be happy, it is really necessary to be thankful I think... hmm.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Gambia, Germany, Israel, Romania, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, Syrian Arab Republic
