ABOUT ME

Basically, I'm 22-years-old and I haven't seen nearly as much as I want to see within this short life. Therefore, I want to get out there and see new things and meet new people and really get a sense of myself and the world around me. I go to school and work in the beautiful mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona. I am a performer in a local well-known circus called Circus Bacchus. I am a whip artist, burlesque dancer and fire performer. I tend not to show off when I meet new people but if you hand me a torch and a lighter, there's really only so much temptation I can resist :) I love art, more specifically Chinese art, and I love learning about different religions. So far, there hasn't been one that hasn't held my full attention and curiosity. Learning is a beautiful thing. I think traveling will help me to continue learning on a more personal level...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two of my very closest friends have been hosting for a while now. I have met countless fascinating people staying at their place and I plan on consulting with my roommates within the next week or so and hopefully becoming a host myself.

Oh where do I begin...as for books I have read and loved far too many to recount without boring you but I am currently reading Dune and I think it's totally awesome :)

Music is where my heart is, sigur ros, broken social scene, explosions in the sky, andrew bird, frou frou, blonde redhead, amy millan, the album leaf, four tet, the notwist, sufjan stevens, mirah, muse, owen, mice parade, dave matthews, beirut, jose gonzales, imogen heap, bob dylan, radiohead, ivy, stars...I could go on for pages...

I will teach anyone how to eat fire. I will learn from anyone how to live a better, healthier, more fulfilling, more productive, beautiful life.
