ABOUT ME

My name is Benoît, I like to travel but what I prefer is adventure and to meet people, share good time and live new experiences. I work in a bank but my spirit is always on the road. I make a break since my daughter was born.
Sarah is 6 years old, she's a little girl now, she will start to learn English this year at school.
Ophelia is my girlfriend, we meet together one year ago. She's french teacher, writer, and excellent singer.

I want to show them how much couchsurfing can be awesome.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I speak about CS to my friends, my family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My ex-wife and I hosted some couchsurfers and each time it was a positive experience. I like meet travellers, speak with them, show them our city and listen them about their trips and their country.
But when we travel we become guests. First time it was strange to ask for help but it's very cool to meet couchsurfers in their town because they can explain us their customs, speak together about their country and show us their town, the best coffee or restaurants. So great and thank you to all couchersurfers who hosted us and who will host us. :)

Intereses

New experiences, meet people, travel, sport, spend time with friends, comics, video games... and eat, we are (ok I am) so gourmand.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Science fiction, thriller and comedy.(Star Wars, ET, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings... the green mile, Juno...)
Music: Pop and rock but i like to listen all music depending to my state of mind.
Books:Science fiction and thriller (I like books of Isaac Asimov, Bernard Werber, Marc Lévy...)

Algo increíble que he hecho

A travel from France to India with wy ex-wife during 5 months. We hitchhiked and couchsurfed as much as possible. But when we didn't find a host we knocked at the door's house and we asked if they can help us. It worked.

We traveled with a South Korean guy during three weeks by hitchhiking. It worked.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

The best way to find a car when we hitchhike is to going in a petrol station and to ask directly to drivers.
I think the most important when we travel is not to visit but to meet people.
