About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to cross into all the nearby countries on foot.. (currently, done 2 out of 6)

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded, fun-loving girl who loves to learn about new cultures and experience new things. I am passionate about music, literature, language, movies. I love the arts and I often find that the best way to experience a culture is through it's arts. I have studied literature and love to write as well.

A few years ago, I was bitten by the SCUBA diving bug. Ever since then I take one diving trip every year. I have been to Andamans, Philippines (a lovely island called Malapascua) and Eilat in Israel. I am truly amazed at the beauty of life below the sea. Every ocean has very different animals and coral and there is something humbling to see an entire world that we have no part in.

I also learned how to sail (though I may have forgotten most of that). But my love for the ocean makes me try all water sports. ;)

When I was 9, I started learning how to play the piano. I am a classically trained pianist. And used to even be in a rock band when I was in college.

I also love alcohol and food. I have bartended in NYC and can make a mean cocktail. But I also love to try out new flavors, new cuisines, new brands or brews. In that sense, I am an epicurean. I believe that good food and drink can really add a lot to life. So I am always on the lookout for a quirky bar, restaurant. While I can drink, dance and have a fun night out, I prefer great conversation and interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am in Germany for two months and would love to learn about the culture from the locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome! Some of the most amazing people i've met has been through couchsurfing. whether that's people i've met at home and then travelled with to a few continents or people that i've connected with across the seven seas, without having a single thing in common.

This community is great and fun.

Interests

the world was so recent that many things lacked names, and in order to indicate them it was necessary to point.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently Reading: How To Build A Girl by Caitlin Moran
Currently Listening to: Black Hole Sun (Norah Jones Cover)
Currently Writing: Satire

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deep Sea Diving in the Andamans. Bright blue beaches, white sand.

By day I'd play voyeur into the world of fish. By night, sit by the moonlight, listening to the sound of waves and stare at the horizon.

Teach, Learn, Share

Delhi is not the safest place for women - so adventure is all good, but don't be stupid about it..

Also, if you're planning to use this as a dating site, I'm the wrong girl to message.
