ABOUT ME

I enjoy a nice glass of wine and five plates of food...not far from the truth. My job is to eat around the world right now, so I'm constantly being stuffed until I can't eat anymore. The first word I learn in any language is "enough." I've discovered that traveling is a balancing act of "just do it" and chilling. If I get to do this for the rest of my life, I won't have a problem with it. Karaoke...fine with me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I formed some great friendships with CSers in Istanbul while attending weekly meetings and different out trips. I've actually only surfed once before in Germany; had a really wonderful time. Now, I'm looking to make great friends while on the road in India and Southeast Asia. I've been traveling with fellow CSer for about 6 weeks now in India and I've had some of the most exciting and amazing experiences of my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience can be summed up in endless conversations, dancing the night away and sharing in the thrills and excitements of organic adventure.

Interests

Books! Adventure, cooking, fantasy, historical non-fiction and fiction...anything for the sake of learning. Singing and beatboxing are also up there for me. I've also found that haggling for a room is not half bad. Cooking must be at the top of my list, though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of soul, but I also seem to like songs that have weird sounds mixed in. There's no rhyme or reason to it...really. You might even find some twangy Appalachian music that I like. I tried to look down my list of most played music and decided that it's too spread out to write it all down.

Books...well, I love historical fiction and non-fiction, some fantasy and definitely a good novel. Recent kicks are Ken Follett, Salman Rushdie, Les Mis and spice research books, haha! My interests follow the people that I'm with and the countries I'm traveling in.

For movies, Blazing Saddles. I think that says it all.
