ABOUT ME

Currently I study sociology and economics in Mainz/Germany which is a small city closed to Frankfurt am main.
I grew up in the very south of germany, in bavaria, just 5 miles away from the border to austria. Damn - I really miss watching the Alps. and I miss nordic skiing in the winter through the silent snowy forest.

PHILOSOPHY

Once an old man was sitting in front of me, and I asked him where in the world he had been and he started with: " Well, I had a very interesting life." I guess I would like to be that old man one day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on a couple of couches so far and it was just an amazing experience. The best thing is, that you come to a place and you are immediately in the society of that place.

兴趣

playing the guitar, and singing; Having lonesome nightwalks through forgein cities in foreign countries; Hiking; Having a glass of red wine, while listening to jazz sessions in an old pub; travelling; good food (unfortunaltey I am a bad cook); sunrises;

Apart from that, i am always interested in meeting new people from all varieties and from all over the world.

Definately my most favourte movie is "Once upon a time in the West" if you haven't watched it: watch it !!!
I love the short film: "Hotel Chevalier"

Music: Rock in most of its varities (with an emphazise on the 60ies/70ies) The Who, Rory Gallagher (actually I know only the "Live in Europe"- Album, in my opinion this album is the essence of Rock'n'Roll) The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Libertines, Bright Eyes, Bonnie 'Prince' Billie, Rage Against the Machine, Led Zeppelin,

I love 'The Metamorphisis' from Kafka, and i like 'On the Road' (at least i liked this book 4 years ago, don't know how things have changed).

Hitchhiking from southern Germany to Krakov,Poland via Austria and Slovakia and beeing on a train in the Ukraine were amazing experiences last summer.
Traveling South East Asia for 3 months.
