About Me
ABOUT ME
I am an improvisational musician (hand percussion, Turkish and Arabic flutes (kaval, nay), oud, etc), audio engineer (mixing), vegetarian, non smoking, non alcohol d rinking, (non judgmental! - of course I`m ok if you are not veg or if you d rink, although I try to avoid breathing cigarette smoke), relaxed personality.
You may check my website for more www.ericzang.com.
PHILOSOPHY
Just be genuinely nice, considerate, and smile :-) , the golden/karmic rule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have a more personal connection during travels and also meet other musicians. I've found this to be more enriching than sight seeing.
Interests
music (especially traditional and fusion), learning about culture, finding reverberant spaces to do group improvisational singing in, dancing (but I don't know any styles, I just like to have fun with it), walking in interesting environments and nature areas, healthy simple food...

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share hand percussion techniques (bongos, cajon, conga, etc) or share flute techniques (I don't play the silver transverse flute though) I am an experienced accompanist on hand percussion and I may perform with you if you want.
I've done a lot of mixing and audio work, so perhaps could help with some aspects of that (I mostly use Reaper).
