ABOUT ME

Hello there! I'm a student in the awesome city of Heidelberg and a keen and crazy traveler. I like to see the world and meet new people, and I also like to welcome people to my corner of the world.

I'm studying neuroscience with a strong molecular and cellular orientation, but my interests range from that to just about everything. I have a strong taste for foreign languages, social dynamics, and history, and I think that's what motivates my leisure travels and brings me closest to other surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been planning to use couch surfing more often for a long time, but usually I end up making other accommodations. Friend-circle-surfing is also very cool, and I'm lucky to have that option, but it really doesn't take you everywhere.

In principle I would prefer couch surfing over other alternatives because you get to know the place you're visiting in a totally different way if you spend time close to the locals. I think people should take the time to show their surfers around - for me that's the main idea; but I do understand that many people may just be too busy, and that's also ok.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I'd be hard pressed to single any moment out... but my most impressive experiences certainly have to do with the sports I like - and the list is probably topped by skiing and climbing... but no, I think the most awesome moments were:
1) The first time I took off alone on a hang glider
2) The first time my sailing boat leaned over more than 45° - really really awesome :D
