COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've just migrated over from hospitality club (berrischarnley). lots of forms you people have to fill out! but i like the flashy profile payoff.

I've had lovely people help me out in Lisbon, Berlin and Barna and everytime its been nothing but niceness. One day someone might even come to Leeds!

Interests

reading, music, art, architecture,chess, people, places, photography, beaches, sunsets, sunrises (without waking up for them), sleeping, plants, yoga, thai chi, dancing (like this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3LmmCYxe5k0), talking, cooking, walking and food. and, of course, traveling, but not just doing the above in different places, i like the actual art of traveling; the train ride, the hitchhike etc. enough? ok, thats a start then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

snorkelling in Vietnam was pretty cool, but i dont know thats a toughie, one thing? in my whole life time? well so far, it must be the quiet, and not so quiet moments when i've remembered that its all a ride, Bill was right. "The world is like a ride at an amusement park. It goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey - don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride...” But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. Jesus - murdered; Martin Luther King - murdered; Malcolm X - murdered; Gandhi - murdered; John Lennon - murdered; Reagan... wounded. But it doesn't matter because: It's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money.
