ABOUT ME

I want to taste the spice of life. The sweet, the salty, the bitter, the hot. I don't strive for happiness. I believe we limit our experience of the world to one feeling only if we do this. I rather want to feel it all: little joys, anticipation, pain, hope, sorrow and no, not happiness, but exhaltation, bliss and passion.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do what you can do cause noone is watching. Do what you can't do cause everyone is watching.

Interests

My three great loves are people, nature and energy.

I wake up with a smile on my face...just because it's a new morning. Because the sun is tickling my face. Because I anticipate adventures and look forward to seeing my friends.

I fall asleep with a smile on my face after a long conversation with a friend in which we have successfully solved all the problems in the world, or realised that we're once again no step closer to solving them but are happy to be trying.
Or if I can see the stars twinkling above me. Or if I'm exhausted because I spent the whole day rock climbing, mountain biking or hiking.

When I go out, I mostly enjoy listening to live bands, chilling with friends in places where I can hear what they say or going to the theatre. I love dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

If there's one person I could revive, it would be Michael Ende (German author). I love all his books, with special mention of The Neverending Story and Momo. Other favourites are Demian (Herman Hesse) and Le Petit Prince (St Exupery).

Movies: Garden State, Amelie...I always forget good movies that I've watched...

Music: Rock and Reggae. The Killers are an all time, any time of day favourite. Others include Muse, Placebo, The Postal Service, The Rasmus, Bob Marley, Goldfish, Gipsy Kings, Manu Chao.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Howling with seventy dogs on a frozen lake at -30 degrees in the middle of nowhere...while gazing at the Northern Lights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can peel an orange in one go without braking the peel. And I can balance 8 spoons on my face (I'm training to balance more, wanted to break the world record, but that's about 17 spoons, which is quite a lot)...
