ABOUT ME

I've recently completed an Exchange program in Ontario, Canada for a semester, did an internship in Singapore and a summer school studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. You can imagine how thankful I am that my penultimate/final year in university has granted me these great opportunities to travel to over twenty cities within a span of eight months. Currently, I'm back in Singapore finishing up my honours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only started joining the CS project when I arrived in Edinburgh. I've met up with a lovely CSer who has been studying in Edinburgh since last year. I've also met some amazing CSers and awesome hosts in Manchester and Paris! I'm hoping to squeeze out time for Singapore CS events soon.

兴趣

I'm interested in colonial, postcolonial and film theories with regards to Literature, as well as learning different languages. I enjoy watching sitcoms (everything i know in life i learn from F.R.I.E.N.D.S), going for adventurous trails, occasional visits to pubs and good music. and of course, meeting new people and absorbing the local experiences.

Singaporeans know at least 2 or 3 languages (includ. dialects), our official language being English. We are taught using the British education system, influenced by American programmes but instinctively led by our traditional beliefs.

I'm currently working part-time at a backpacker's hostel along Little India. I'd be glad to help answer any of your queries regarding your stay/visit in Singapore!
