About Me

ABOUT ME

When I first came across this "about you" field on my couch surfing profile I let it on blank, since I had no idea what to write. I created my account some years ago only to know the cool site my friends were talking about. By that time, traveling was no more than a dream for me. Now, a few years and few trips later, I realized the task is easier, but still tough. What I can tell about myself is that I am an easy going and friendly guy. I love to know new people and hear what they have to say. As practically every one here, I like traveling and enjoying life.

PHILOSOPHY

Cliche or not, life is short, so I try to live life the fullest and enjoy each single second of it. Be it during work time or during vacation, it doesn't really matter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had the opportunity to travel a bit during an exchanging program in graduation. The trips were great, but felt like something was missing. I knew the places, tasted the foods and visited museums. I tried, but I couldn’t capture the whole thing. Then, in a trip to Mexico in 2013 I was hosted by I Mexican family my friend knew. That was it, the people! In that trip, I could not only know the place (which was wonderful, by the way), but I could know the people, experience their culture and make friends for life. That trip was worth all the others combined and I realized the true meaning of travelling. I believe CS is the perfect way to achieve the fullest of travelling, by allowing people to share their cultures and exchange experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody has something to say, a story to tell and experiences to share. That's something that fascinates me. Whenever I come across a stranger I wonder: what's his/her story? What has he/she lived? I hope I can learn more and more by hearing people and improve myself as human being. I am also very exited about sharing my culture and the few experiences I have.
