ABOUT ME

I am recent grad student that has gotten a taste of the real world work force. After a year, I decided that travel was a lot more fun! Before you know it, I had bought a touring bike and began planning a nation-wide trip with a long time buddy.

PHILOSOPHY

The platinum rule: Treat others as they wish to be treated (similar to the golden rule but better!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started with couchsurfing (met an awesome member who got me involved). Excited to host once I return home from my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far on our bicycle tour we have been hosted by three families. These folks we just ran into at public places, struck up conversation, and before you know it we had a place to stay! We have since decided to increase our odds (and fun!) by using this website to connect with folks.

Interests

Anything on two wheels, snowboarding, wakeboarding, golf. I would love to do more surfing and kayaking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not amazing, but I did once break my pelvis, some ribs, and a wrist (see tip above concerning not taking motorcycle advice from me).

Teach, Learn, Share

I am convinced that you can learn something from everybody. I'm not an expert on a lot of things, but I can tell you how NOT to do certain things (based on my mistakes =) Things that you should not take from me: golf tips (my game is lacking) and how not to fall off your motorcycle (I tend to excel at this).
