I'm a 29 years old 'ex-student', living in the student city Leuven. I like to see myself as an easy-going, optimistic guy who likes to discuss/learn about culture, politics, music and history (both sides of the medal).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to circumstances I won't be able to host just yet, but till that time I'll try to participate by traveling and surfing as much as possible ;).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After a lot of stories from my couchsurfing friends I decided to try it myself, and so I couchsurfed for the first time in Morocco. I absolutely loved it: We met 'the locals' (read: new friends), saw a part of the nightlife and got to see parts of the cities we otherwise would have missed.

CS really adds a whole other level to traveling, and I'm super-excited about doing it again!

兴趣

My main interest is spending time with my friends and girlfriend: studying, arguing, partying, traveling together.

There's a lot of things I like to argue about:
Music plays an important role in my life, be it just listening to it, going to festivals with friends, or playing some guitar myself. I'm also interested in culture, history and literature.

Music:
Radiohead, Radiohead (can't stress this enough ;)), Muse, Pearl Jam, Sigur Rós, Kings of Leon, MGMT, Eels... and a lot of Belgian bands (Hooverphonic, dEUS, Blackbox Revelation)

Movies:
Amelie, Eternal sunshine of the spotlessmind (Anything directed by Gondry), American Beauty, Fight Club, Snatch... but the kid in me still enjoys stuff like Jurassic Park and Pixar movies.

Books:
Right now I'm trying to catch up on some 'classics'. I'm taking suggestions!
