Not giving up on believing I could change the world
ABOUT ME
I'm Mia, living with my friends and cat in Jerusalem, a city I'm in love with.
After finishing my internship at an amazing human rights organization, and finally getting my diploma for lawyering in Israel- I am planning to use it in my constanst fight for bettering my surrounding and perhaps the world :) Other than that I do a lot of educational work with youth and children, volunteering and activism in Jerusalem, a complex, unique, most beautiful city.
I study Arabic and modern dance and DJ whenever I get the muse :)
I'm also a passionate cook and love playing with vegan cooking and baking experiments.
I'm a culture addict. I love the diversity in Jerusalem night life and trying, with the help of my beloved friends, to experience as much as possible of its parties, musical acts and more. Every night is nicer with superb music, ferocious dancing, some beer, and most of all- true friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After being hosted by so many amazing people all over Europe, I really wanna contribute my share to this unbelievable thing called CouchSurfing.
I can't always host, but you're always welcome to contact me if you're up for coffee, beer or just a chilled hang out in some of Jerusalem's cool spots (and there's plenty of those that I'd happily take you to :) ).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent the entire summer in Europe- from couch to couch- and it was absolutely amazing! I met the best people who opened their homes, hearts and beer bottles to me. Some of them will stay my friends for life, I'm sure. This whole experience really made me believe in the goodness in people and become a complete optimist regarding the future of mankind :)
Interests
I enjoy most kinds of art, from classical to bizarre.
I love going to intersting, moving musical acts, as well as to the movies or the theatre, but could enjoy a quite time with a good book with myself. Poetry moves me.
I'm vegan and loooooooove cooking, baking and making my non-vegan friends not feel like "something's missing" and realise that when food is made with love- it's just damn good.
I'm also a political person that keeps trying to influence the society I live in and make reality a little better, in more ways then one.

Music, Movies, and Books
music is my life! so it's pretty much everything, with a warm warm place in my heart for 80's-90's trash and above all- oldschool hip hop and silky smooth r&b.
I love reading, both prose and poetry, but don't think namedropping will be useful here.
I find the cinema magical, and try to make the best usage of my Cinemateque membership. "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" and "Hedwig and the angry inch" make my heart burst every time a new.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived and sailed a Sail Boat for a few days in the open sea.
Made people stay up all night, dancing.
