ABOUT ME

I am currently doing my MBA in Chicago. In my previous life, I was an environmental engineer working on a hydroelectric project in Laos. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work on four continents and have enjoyed traveling extensively over the last few years. I am a pretty laid back sort of bloke who likes to meet new people and share experiences and stories.

PHILOSOPHY

Adventure is a path. Real adventure - self-determined, self-motivated, often risky - forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind - and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.

Travelled by public transport from Ethiopia to South Africa. Lying back on the canopy of a grain truck under a star filled African sky in Northern Kenya, covered in dust and surrounded by guns and Samburu warriors.... wondering WTF I was doing there.....
