ABOUT ME

hello hello! people call me ellen and i am a 21 year old girl from munich in bavaria germany, where the sky is blue and the forests are dark green, where you can see the alps while standing outside on your balcony and of course where the biggest volksfest is - the oktoberfest!
i love my hometown, but i just have graduated from school and so it is time for me to finally spread my wings to discover the world and to find new friends.
i am a very easy going person and i can get used to every situation. i loooove laughing and having good times with my friends. they also think that i am a little bit crazy because there could be times when i talk too much^^
things i couldn´t live without are definetly music, books and my family.

PHILOSOPHY

personal philosophy? puh i do not know if i have an own philosophy.
i love life and i love this earth. i think life is so short and i want to see as much as possible of this amazing planet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have watched a report about this community on TV. and i was totally fascinated. i always wanted to travel the world. there are so many different cultures, religions and people living on this planet and i want to be a part of that. i think it is such a great idea to have many different friends with a different background all over the world. and to give people the opportunity to come to your own country and maybe to show him or her your own way of life.
and i think the CS community is the best place for that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i just joined the couchsurfing community, so i don´t have any couchsurfing experiences yet. but i hope that will change as soon as possible.^^

i´m totally interested in any other cultures. i want to know how people live all over world.
i´m really into music, especially into indie and alternative. and i have been to soo many concerts that i am not able to count them anymore! so i think it would be soo cool to discover the different music scenes all over the world!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I´m totally into all kinds of music, but mainly into alternative and indie. bands i like: the do, band of horses, kings of leon,radiohead, arcade fire, interpol, babyshambles, great lake swimmers, libertines, silversun pickups, dave a marat, vampire weekend, ezra furman and the harpoons, lucky fish, nada surf, the shins, MGMT, crystal castles and the list goes on and on...
Books: i looove reading, especially crime novels. authors i like: nesser, mankell, austen, kafka, schiller, rankin etc.
movies: i love watching all kinds of movies. but i am not in this romantic love happy end thing. i am more the blood action horror type^^

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

i like visiting capitol cities. i have been to almost every european capital. rome, vilnius, paris, zagreb, london, amsterdam, berlin, helsinki, prague, warsaw, vienna, bratislava, ljubljana, tallin etc.
