About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and help as many people as I can -- I live to help others share the same virtue.
ABOUT ME
I love social scenes though I am most outgoing when I'm able to connect with people on a more personal level. I have an enormous appreciation for comradery and building relationships through self-sacrifice.
Also, I tend to sing Journey in the shower (only when I host of course). If this is a problem for you, I have a suitable list of back up bands from which you can select; pick whomever will make you the most happy.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel there's something you can learn from anybody so long as you give yourself the chance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been a back up host for friends that were no longer able to entertain their out-of-towners. Awesome every time.
Interests
films- I try to see as many indie flicks that i can. My favorite directors are Gondry, the Coen bros, and Fincher.
Camping or other outdoor activities- especially mountaineering and canyoneering.
Working out (when I can)
Painting- oil on canvas. I have a complete fetish for rendering cage fights. I love galleries and seize the opportunity to see them whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
independent movies and offbeat comedies, top 5:
1. Eternal sunshine (of course)
2. Leon
3. Fight Club
4. Groundhog Day
5. The Big Lebowski
Southern rock, Rancid, Weezer, Aerosmith, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, any sort of music besides gritty indie-pop that's too experimental? I dunno, I'm pretty easily seduced by new ideas.
any books on sociology and psychology
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I like art. I think I know a lot about art, unless you are from Europe--in which case, you'd win. I think it would be a little awkward to "teach" art, but I guess all of this becomes a relatively smoother discussion after a few beers--which I would argue I know a little more about than art.
And also, I love wilderness survival. If you're dying to know which pine needles make for a decent tea, look no further.
