About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm going. And I'm making it up as I go
ABOUT ME
I've finished studying and don't know what I want to do. I've never been happier though, travelling and exploring new places. In fact, I really want to live in an entirely new city. I love riding my bike, reading, drawing, being with friends, being outdoors, drinking beer on a hot day. I'd like to do visual arts next year or the year after - basically my goal is to set myself on a more creative path!
What else?
I like listening to music, but love dancing to it more
I love Gerda and Jorg's installations
I love watching good movies, history, art, good grammar, black labradors, reading, mountains, waves...food
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still working it out. I think learning has a lot to do with my philosophy - "change your view and the world is new again". I'm a very open-minded and tolerant person and love learning about new people and places and things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CS but want to get a lot more involved! I'm hoping to couch surf while I travel but would love to eventually host when I get back next year.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't had any yet. But have heard great things about it from friends.
Interests
I'm really interested in the environment. At the moment, I'm really keen to learn how to garden. I'm planning on going to several farms in Quebec while I travel to live with families there and help them with the gardening and general upkeep of the farm. They're all organic farms and I'm even going to learn some bee keeping! (fingers crossed) I have no experience what so ever except for some knowledge about local community gardens back home but I love being outdoors and, yes, that's basically my main project and interest at the moment. Other intersts are art and drawing, old vintage bikes with lots of character, trying to learn french and learning as much as possible while I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watched 'Mad Max' last night - and thought it was fantastic! Very amusing stuff.
But the list of good movies is endless...'Persypolis' was the last great one I saw. Oh and 'Gran Torino'.
Music - At the moment I'm in love with Nick Cave. Beirut, Sufjan, Radiohead, Barons of Tang...been discovering a bit of jazz, i like anything a little more experimental/strange too.
Books. Yes! There are so many. The last book I read was 'The Dharma Bums' by Jack Kerouac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cambodia and Angkor Wat is by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.
I also climbed Half-Dome at Yosemite which was cool.
AND, last week, (greatest achievement of all?) someone taught me how to do a headstand. (This meant I could get a better view of the lake we were at!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach?
I can teach you how to do a cartwheel. Well...I'd have fun trying.
Learn - I'll try learn anything. I probably need to learn to cook better. I wish I'd learnt to play an instrument.
Share - a love of music, a meal, a conversation?
