ABOUT ME
I like to observe people. I build up their stories, I dig in my spaceouts. And often they result in a smile. ^^ Overall a good guy, interested in everything. I have no problems to get used to new situations, new environments, new habits. I'm amazed by discovering people, cultures, languages, swear words, foods..I write only with blue pen. Black is ugly.I don't like: when you take out frozen stuff from the freezer and it scratches against the ice.I don't like: the Times New Roman.I don't like: the landing of escalators. I am wondering if anybody ever got absorbed and shredded like a paper.I don't like: the sound of plane toilets, which burst out unexpectedly few seconds after you flushed your stuff. One day someone will be sucked in.I don't like: Tuesdays. They are hopeless.I don't like: at the supermarket; the feeling of pressure you have when you are supposed to rush and put all your stuff in the bag.I don't like: at the supermarket (again); old ladies at the cashier pretentiously separating their items from the following customer's ones.I don't like: business men in suit and backpack.I like: begin brief but deep conversations with random people who phoned me by mistake.I like: the way portuguese people say "de nada". It's like caressing you with the voice."don't worry, son, it's nothing"I like: to buy a new toothbrush.I like: take a bike ride after hair cut.I like: the smell of Marseille soap.I like: to carefully observe the little log cabins sold by bricolage stores.I like: autumnI like: the sound of the snowI like: the smell of the fogI like: the smell of the newspapersI like: the feeling of cold sand under my feetI appreciate: hairdressers. They have amazing psychological skills.I appreciate: Schroeder (from "Peanuts")
PHILOSOPHY
Hate towards inertia!ShareAsk people rather than your GPS. Or even better: throw it away.I develop theories.Like the "Watermelonseed issue" and the "Extreme heating of the engines".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've found myself on a sailboat near Hook Island (Whitsundays, Australia)15000 km away from home. Sunset. Some guys are playing the guitar. Some other are making a bbq on the beach nearby. Some are diving. I found a toscano cigar in my pocket. And smoke it with the biggest smile.
- November: I reached an isolated hostel in Northern Ireland. The closest village was 5 km away. I slept in a mahogany railway carriage. Apart from Big Desmond, the owner (130kg white beard and white ponytail), I was totally alone. I traded 1000 italian "lire" (= 0,50 eur) for 2 pints of Guinnes at the Molly's pub in Dunfanaghy.
- I had an early morning pint of Guinness at Dick Mack's in Dingle, poured and served by Dick's son in person (if you are Irish you'll know what I'm talking about!)
- I interrailed with 2 friends through East Europe (Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia) without almost any plan.
- I've woken up before the dawn, prepared the horse for the ride, eaten breakfast with "funcionarios de fazenda" (milk from the cow and fresh pão de queijo), ridden the whole day, drank ice-cold "tereré" under a cajueiro, saw the southern sky in the middle of nowhere in Mato Grosso, Brasil.
Teach, Learn, Share
I often forget about museums, turistic places, fancy restaurants, bus tours, all-in-a-day-visits. Live the place as the locals would do. Be with locals, speak their language, listen to the stories. And share all those things with someone is the greatest reward.
