Music, Movies, and Books
Music- Laura Pausini, Jay Chou (Taiwanese pop), May Day (Taiwanese pop), Yu Quan (Chinese pop), Alanis Morisette, Muse, Nightwish, Enzoeno, Jeff Buckley, System of a Down, classical stuff like Brahms and Bruckner's mass (in F minor I think), lots of great stuff
Movies- Leon the Professional, Sense and Sensibility starring Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson, I don't watch a lot of movies as I am a great deal more interested in documentaries and features;
Books- The landscape of Stalinism (an anthology), Paris as Revolution, The Painting of Modern Life by T.J. Clark, various books about psychology, neuroscience and physiology, Lord Goldsmith's lectures in printed form and I will read everything that I can read of S Raeburn's works- the writer based in Glasgow
Paper(s): 'From Moll Flanders to Tess of the D'Urbervilles: Women, Autonomy and Criminal Responsibility in Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century England' by Nicola Lacey, LSE Papers 2007
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A hedgehog walked around in my garden. I cooked pan-fried duck breast for it to eat. I also served chicken soup to this hog, it enjoyed the soup so much too. I played with it all night, it had baths, ate chicken eggs, cherries, peaches, a lot of luxurious things then walked off. That was super fun!
