ABOUT ME

My last winter was in 2008, and this year the endless summer continues for the 6th year straight! I love to laugh and love to learn about interesting new people/places. Nothing makes me happier than swimming in the ocean under a warm sun in a clear blue sky! I play basketball competitively and just about any other sport for fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted couchsurfers from around the world, as well as just catching up to share travel stories. I was amazed and humbled by the warm hospitality offered to me by Couchsurfers during a 6 month tour of Europe and a smaller tour of Russia and Belarus!

I have had a lot of fun and learnt so much about different cultures and places whilst hosting couchsurfers over the past few years. The couple of times I have been hosted have been very positive and helped me out a lot!
I have made a some very good friends through meeting up through couchsurfing :)

I like stupid things that make me laugh, or profound things that make me think differently! I love music and have listened to many different types since I was a small child. My favourite is Trance.

Each day that I'm alive is an amazing thing ;)
I have been broadcast on Australian National TV on a game show.
I went on a basketball tour to Indonesia and got treated like a rockstar, as well as being on TV for 45 million people!
Climbing Uluru is one of the most spiritual and amazing experiences of my life.
Swimming with 7m whale sharks after hitch hiking 2700km.
Jumping off cliffs into water pools in the middle of the desert.
The memories are endless...

I have many random jewels of knowledge that I may be able to share. I am a physiotherapist, so maybe I can help you with that sore neck/shoulder/back ;)
I love learning new things, if you can teach me about cool events, new language, strange facts etc. then you will be a friend of mine ;)
