ABOUT ME

I've lived in the Midwest my entire life, but I've been fortunate to travel to various places in the world and hope that I never stop. I'm finishing my last semester of graduate school and slowly preparing myself for the next chapter in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

All of my experiences are enhanced by my willingness to be completely engaged with my surroundings and the people who fill them. If I strive for an understanding of these things and don't hold myself back with negativity, my life is that much more enriched.

Interests

Mostly design these days, solving problems and just making things better in general is often on my mind. I find peace in doing yoga and happiness in cooking. I work with elementary children and tend to love every minute of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have such a love for good music. I am partial to certain genres, but if the composition is soothing or theatrical or makes me what to dance, I like it. Gotta say that I love movie plots that aren't obvious and include subtle context details. The last movie that I really really enjoyed? A Raisin in the Sun. Books have to be able to trap me in another world or expand my mind and make me take a "think" break.
