About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couch surfing. Staying in people's home and spending some time with locals is definitely more fun and interesting than staying in a hotel.
Interests
riding my motorcycle around, trail running, camping, hiking, climbing things like rocks, trees and power-towers, hitch hiking trips, yoga, acroyoga, general adventuring (especially when they are weird), being surrounded by trees, mountains, stars...

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Wild, Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Power of Now, How to Change Your Mind, The Holographic Universe, Molecules Of Emotion, anything Tom Robbins, pretty much any Isaac Asimov and plausible sci-fi. I read a lot of non-fiction. I like books about neuroscience, Yoga, philosophy in the language of science, planetary formation, aliens/extremophiles, theories of how life began on this planet...ect.
Movies: Point Break, Being John Malcovich, Life is Beautiful, Harold and Maude, Concert DvDs: Stop Making Sense, Concert for George.
Music: Dr. Dog, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Camera Obscura, The Band, Rilo Kiley will always be one of my favorites but I hated Under The Blacklight, Jenny Lewis, Gillian Welsh, Liz Phair...many more
TV: I don't have one and prefer to not watch it. However, I got really into watching shows on Netflix that summer when I crashed my motorcycle and broke my leg. The shows I watched were: Star Trek (tng and original series), the xfiles, and The 90's X-men cartoon
