Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To use my time to the best of my ability, try to be excellent, and have a laugh.
ABOUT ME
Woah I hadn't updated this in 3 years until now.
I am Joe. I like cats. For the moment,I live in Japan and teach English.
I like sport, music and other stuff. I hope that I am percieved as a kind, interesting person. I have a tendency to over-analyze things. Reading this thing will never really help you find out what I am like. Better to just have a chat and see the "real" Joe.
PHILOSOPHY
I wish I had more time to think about this properly. In general, not just what to write in this box.
Perhaps, never stop learning and never stop trying to move forward, is simple advice I try to follow.
Its not where you're from, its where you're at!
- Ian Brown.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By doing some hosting and surfing in Japan!
Over one summer a few years ago my roommate and I hosted a bunch of cool people from all over the place, and enjoyed every single second of it!
Couchsurfing seems to be about meeting awesome people, seeing amazing places, and learning. Which I'm totally cool with.
I try to be as generous and welcoming as possible, and get to know each surfer as much as possible in their (usually!) short stay. My house is your house. When surfing I try to do the same! I also have a plan to make a massive return trip to all the coolest people I have hosted/met, to their respective homes all around the world. First stop(s) America, Argentina and Germany. (You know who you are guys!)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted people from all over the place, America, Canada, Argentina, France, Hungary, Germany, Australia, Belgium, and getting to know so many different people was amazing!
Went surfing in Glasgow/Paris/Milan for two weeks and it was amazing to be the surfer for a while, (thanks so much to our hosts you were amazing!!)such a funny experience after hosting so many people.

Música, películas y libros
There are too many fantastic movies and music to start naming them all. Some of my favorites are ones which have really moved me, or shown some kinda of epic journey. Eg. The Motorcycle Diaries.
I love music and could go on forever about who to listen to: currently listening to Ray Lamontagne, Jeff Buckley, Bombay Bicycle Club and lots of other awesome cool stuff.
I don't read as much as I should. But readers, do you exercise as much as you should?
I love to read factual stuff, and store random facts about absolutely anything, so theres a good chance if I'm reading something it will be Wikipedia.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Finishing the Dublin Marathon is something I will never forget, going for a really long run with 10,000 other people is good fun!
Sunrise on the top of Mt Fuji was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach you how to solve a Rubik's cube. Not sure whether that is cool or not.
To the guitarists "out there", let's jam.
I am learning Japanese and really enjoying it, 日本語を話しましょう!!
