About Me

Hi guys,
I´m Maren, outgoing, curious and always open for spontaneous ideas. I'm based in Hamburg, enjoy getting to know new people, places and cultures and consider myself a food-lover, music-enthusiast, joke-collector and friend of good laughter & conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed in Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain and Amsterdam and love the idea behind it - to open your home out of kindness to connect, share and meet amazing people from all over the world - which I did, thanks to this wonderful community.

Interests

I love strolling around flea markets, dancing at festivals, listening to poetry slams, being outdoors, going for a run, hiking, bike riding, playing beach volleyball, exploring new cafés and restaurants, and of course traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me, one of the most amazing things I did whilst traveling was paragliding in Colombia. Being up in the air, flying 500m above the ground like a bird was an incredible experience and would love to do it again.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have to admit that I'm not the best cook (although I love baking!), however, I gladly bring a bottle of wine to the table and introduce you to a great card game. Furthermore, I've been called a good listener and I enjoy taking pictures of people - so if you're in need, let me know.
