About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Surrendering to life's unknowns, imperfections, chance, randomness...
ABOUT ME
I like to think I'm pretty laid back. I prefer to spend my time outdoors when possible, usually hiking, running, playing volleyball or soccer, or just sitting back and relaxing in the sun. La Crosse is perfect for biking and walking, so I guess I'm an avid biker and walker too. I read books, but I don't have a television. I .. wait for it .. love traveling! I'd like to travel to Japan someday and South and Central America next. I'm very imaginative and animated. I like good beer, specifically microbrews. I also enjoy good wine -- the more complex the better. I study math and computer science *woot woot*, which is a nice balance for my otherwise artsy self.
PHILOSOPHY
There is something to be learned from everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host travelers. I enjoy learning about the unique adventures that each surfer is on. I have yet to surf, but hopefully I'll be traveling soon (fingers crossed).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It is always positive.
Interests
I like the outdoors. Good music and ambiance will lure me indoors when the sun goes down. I like to run, travel and spend time with my friends, family and love. To name a few things off the top of my head, I'm interested in Peace Theory, feminism, biology, cooking, sustainable energy, Barcelona fútbol, social change, an honest world, and research.

Teach, Learn, Share
I should have some math & computer science skills by the end of my undergrad. I'd share these with anyone who is interested.
I think a lot of teaching is done through example. This is perfect for couchsurfing folk, because I think we learn something from each person we meet.
