About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see, rather than to be seen. (Well not always.)

ABOUT ME

And hello to you all, members of the couch-surfing community! I can proudly saw that currently my life is consumed by globetrotting - have been on the road for two months now and looking to enjoy my last month as much as possible! friendly, easygoing, fun-loving, yada yada, etc. I have red hair.

PHILOSOPHY

Being a traveller, I find that this whole 'philosophy' thang tends to change quite a lot depending on the country and the company. But with each day I'm becoming a staunch believer in striving to see rather than to be seen. To see, to experience, to learn, to grow. I'm smirking now because I feel like a Hallmark movie, but I mean this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a couch-surfing virgin, be gentle it's my first time, so for the time being I'm more into the couch-surfing than the couch-hosting. But when I return to Oz I'd be happy to share my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zero. But you can help change that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Cell, Labyrinth, Beetlejuice, Children of Men, Everything is Illuminated, Ratatouille, My Architect, Pan's Labyrinth, Alien, Double Jeopardy, The Shining, The Dark Knight... I could go on.
Music: Beatles, Stones, ELO, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Camille, Miles Davis... bit of this bit of that.
Books: The Architecture of Happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my trip around 4 years ago I trekked through an underground water tunnel for a couple of hours with a few friends. Really isolating but also quite spiritual and what a buzz when you emerge some time later to see daylight!
