About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to live my life as intensely as I could and push every limit.
ABOUT ME
where do I start?
I am a 22 years old french-Canadian young woman who is very driven, outgoing and ambitious. I crave for emotions, and new life experience.
I had a wonderful childhood growing up with my entire family, and the love and respect I received from my relatives greatly helped to shape the person I have become.
I am sometimes lazy, sometimes hyper-active. Stubborn?: very often (I love argumenting.. ) I am an idealist, and a women of vision. I love people, and the bonds that can be created with perfect strangers. To me, there is nothing more intense than the emotional and intellectual pleasure of meeting someone with who I connect instantly.
I'm a filmmaker, so every emotion I feel, I live them a thousand times more intensely!
PHILOSOPHY
I really believe that nothing happens for no reason. people create their own luck, and success comes from hard work and perseverance.
I want to live my life so I never have to regret anything
I believe in freedom, beauty, truth, and love (a quote from "Moulin Rouge".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am brand new on this web site, so I don't really know yet about what I can do for the community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I never used the couch surfing service per say, but I heard a lot of good things about it by friends who already used it.
However I don't have a true "Couchsurfing" curriculum, I lived the same kind of experience a couple of weeks ago while I was in Toronto for a Film Festival in which I was presenting my latest short film. I had two hosts during my 7 days trip and those people were truly AMAZING! They were very welcoming and friendly, and I really felt that we all trusted each other, which is very important for me to feel.
Interests
If there is one thing I have to say about myself, it is that Cinema is my true passion. I decided very early in my life to live up to my dream and, although it is a very difficult path, I feel blessed to be able to do what I do. Cinema is not only my passion, it is a life style. I define my films as much as they define me, and this relationship is the deepest and longest connections I ever had (no offence to my exes!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made a feature documentary at the age of 18 years old, which was presented to the General Governor of Quebec. It received the Annapurna award, which rewards the accomplishment of an outstanding project by a youth organization.
currently completing a university degree in Film Production, I founded a productions company two years ago with two fellow filmmakers. Our main goal being to be able to produce international feature films, our short films has been seen in France, Spain, United States, and Canada.
My latest short film "Son of the Preacher" has been selected in many international festivals, including the San Francisco Int'l women film Festival and the Los Angeles Outfest. It was also in Toronto, Boston, and Montreal earlier this year.
