About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting to know myself - getting to know others
ABOUT ME
I'm a 29 year old Medical student and English teacher, currently living in Granada, Spain. I'm a friendly, open-minded guy, not very good at self-descriptions, interested in practically everything that I can understand (I think sometimes to my own detriment...).
I'm a big people person - that's why I decided to sign up to CouchSurfing - There's so many different people in the world who can bring something new to the table (and my way of thinking): New cultures, opinions on life, cool hobbies, political thinking and just people to have fun with!
PHILOSOPHY
Uff, tengo muchas
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've participated in several CS meetups, language exchanges and the like, and have had the pleasure of hosting a few people in my house when the situation has allowed it.
Interests
Travelling, languages (currently learning Italian), sustainable living, people, conversations (both deep and shallow - I think that you can learn a lot from both), food (healthy eating, ethnic eating, especially Indian), buganvilleas, jasmines, geraniums and dipladenias, keeping fit (physically and mentally)!
Not an exhaustive list by any means jaja!

Music, Movies, and Books
Last movie watched: Almanya: Welcome to Germany
Next movie to watch: Blade Runner
Music: I've a very ecclectic taste, but it depends totally on the mood. Some artists I've started listening to a lot this year: Juan Luis Guerra, Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades, Antonio Santos, Marc Anthony, Grupo Niche (ok so it's obvious I've been learning latin dances...)
Want to start listening to: Maná, Leonard Cohen, more swing.
I like reading (prose) a lot, but since I spend most of my life immersed in a book (didactic/technical) or computer screen, I tend to prefer to do something a bit more physcial/outerdoorsy in my spare time to get a bit of balance in my life.
However,
Last book read: Cien años de soledad
Next book to read: I think I'm going to try some of the 'cuentos' of Jorge Luis Borges. Being cuentos, I might actually take less than a year to finish one.
