I'm curious, adventurous, and passionate. I enjoy learning about different cultures and talking about world affairs. But I also like to just meet new people and have a good time. My interests are wide-ranging and I'm up to experiencing new things.

Je suis curieuse, adventureuse, et passionée. J’aime bien apprendre des cultures differentes et discuter les affaires étrangères. Mais, j’aime aussi rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et m’amuser. Mes intérêts sont variés et j’aime essayer de nouvelles choses.

For music, I listen to everything. For books, I love to read and most genres interest me. Favorite books include "1984" and "Heart of Darkness" and favorite plays are "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

As for movies, my favorites are Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Hours, Sherlock Holmes, and Center Stage.

- attending President Obama's inauguration in Washington, DC in freezing weather
- going to the market in Dakar, Senegal and bargaining hard in Wolof for fabric for a dress
- Relaxing in Kibuye, Rwanda for a weekend - swimming in Lake Kivu, drinking beer, and reading by the lake surrounded by greenery
