I'm a 32-year old translator/inrerpreter with a deeply rooted background in music (violin, once upon a time), and a liking in the world's simple pleasures, such as cross-country skiing or stargazing or something equally unpragmatic :) . I know this blank space is called "all about you", but I would encourage you to visit or host me to get to know me better!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed several couches and also hosted quite a few people in Warsaw - it was always a very positive experience and a chance to meet very positive and open-minded people.

Very many and wide ranging: from classical music to salsa. From Capoeira to cross-country skiing and mountaneering. From history to astronomy and economics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Forrest Gump, Little Miss Sunshine, Snatch, Summer Spring (by Vladimir Michalek), Tout un hiver sans feu (Greg Zglinski), No-Man's Land (Danis Tanovic). Kieślowski: Blanc, The Ten Commandments, I also have to honestly admit that I love James Bond films (except for the "Quantum of Solace wash-out).
Music: mainly classical (I used to go to a music school and I play the violin), but also: RHCP, rock, Rammstein in the days of yore :)
Books: Eco (Foucault's Pendulum), Eco (The Name of the Rose), Eco (Baudolino) and Mrożek (a Polish playwright)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing with my nephew and teeching him how to use a children's scooter ;)
