ABOUT ME

I am many things. I am a go-getter. I have enthusiasm for life, for trying everything at least twice. I am a people-person. I am a comedian (I think so.) I am a wanderer. I am a leader. I am a young woman and I have the whole world at my doorstep.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel confused a lot. But the things that really matter I know for sure. Like the only thing really going on is love and light. And I am in touch with the most elemental vibrations of the universe. And the sun is shining. And so am I.

If I can focus on just love and light, focusing and drawing my energy from loving people and the universe and from soaking up the sun and the earth's healing energy, I will be more than ok.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although, I can't host at the moment, I am participating in the sense that I am trying to build a global community. I want to travel as much as I can until I get tired of it. I'd like to see more and more and make more memories from all over the world. I've begun this journey in South Korea and already have friends in both hemispheres and in many continents across the globe. I pride myself that I'm good at keeping in touch and hope to stay friends with many people I've met for many years to come. I think my traveling is making the world slightly smaller. Just the other day, I ran into a guy I went bungee jumping with in Korea in Boston Massachusetts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I so far have only couchsurfed on friends couches but have enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed that I was able to give back to them while they were working. I did the dishes and they'd come home and be pleasantly surprised to find a clean and tidy apartment. They made me happy and I made them happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movies:
lots recently. been catching up on cult classics that i missed growing up in the woods, as well as new releases. i heart juno, and mister magorium's wonder emporium off the top of my head. man those movies just make you FEEL good. the labyrinth, before the devel knows your dead, requiem for a dream, amelie, fried green tomatoes, napoleon dynamite...

Favorite Music: I like a really wide varitey of music, including artists such as: sondre lerche, the doors, coolio, geto boys, noisettes, amy winehouse.

Books: Currently reading "The Diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus", written by a Brazilian woman in the late 1950s about her daily experiences in the Favelas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a person glow with pure happiness and delight with the world, my friend Margaret. It's a truly amazing sight I wish you all could share. She literally lights up talking about looking for a four-leaf clover, or how she taught a little boy something about the world that day. She relishes in life and in nature. I try to do the same.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel young but as if I've lived many times before. I believe I have an old soul and thus have wisdom learned from years before just theses last 24. In this life though, I've studied social work and sociology. I know a lot about helping people, helping them identify their needs, and working toward a solution. I am a practical person and am good at making tough decisions. I am also a trained sex educator and am willing to discuss things most people are too squeamish too. I can teach you all about STIs and keeping yourself safe. You make think you know everything but chances are you have some misinformation.

I would like to learn more about politics and history, something that interests me but that I have trouble sitting down to learn in a book.
