ABOUT ME

Just trying to explore bits of the world. Honestly, if I am able to at least feel like I am apart of several communities and pitching in, I am pretty content.

I suppose I am a lot of things. But then again I am human and that usually comes with the package.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to just meet and learn from others. I am big on the whole autonomous individual thing. Do what you want as long as you don't directly impact another person's ability to choose for themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have been able to couchsurf and meet up with some folks around the area. I have moved back to Seattle so hopefully I will be able to show people/have people stay over soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did a roadtrip from Seattle to Boston for a job (that was a year long) and then from Boston to Seattle. It was a great experience to meet so many wonderful, interesting people.

Music: Joanna Newsom touches my soul. I love dance music and I listen to far more 90's hip hop than I actually admit.

Books: On Beauty, Disgrace, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Henderson the Rain King, Tin Drum, The Road, In Cold Blood, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Mountains Beyond Mountains.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While driving out of Yellowstone a huge thunder storm hit. The person I was traveling with and I couldn't find a campsite so we pulled on the side of the road and fell asleep in the car while looking at the thunder light up all of our surroundings. In the morning we wake up to find a herd of buffalo are surrounding the vehicle and watch as they walk right around us.

It was awesome.
