ABOUT ME
I studied media studies and philosophy, travelled around the world and got addicted (to travelling). Yet I didn't have time or money to do so for some time now, had to finish my studies, then work. But no time is better then the present, so I quit my boring 9-5 job and packed my bagpack again to explore Asia!
PHILOSOPHY
the most amazing things happen by chance
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went hitchhiking and couchsurfing in Paris with my friend - great experience! Then I had the most fantastic hosts in Okinawa. Thank you so much!
Interests
traveling, film, getting to know different cultures...
I love to walk around Tokyo and peek into small Ramen-restaurants or Izakayas and to stare at unknown kanji on colorful stuff in the supermarket, trying to guess what the hell it is I am holding there. I love to be lost, basically. And find my way back successfully. I don't love working. I start to hate computers, which is one of the reasons I am so lazy updating my profile. Nevertheless I spend too much time in front of them, for example to watch the newest episodes of some series.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: The Smiths, The Shins, The Organ, The Robocop Kraus, The Clash, The Undertones (wow, that's a lot of "the"-bands), Beirut, Tocotronic...
My favorite actor is definitely Steve Buscemi, but I rarely dare saying his name out loud because I am still not sure how to pronounce it. I love Takeshi Kitano movies, David Lynch except for inland empire (you lost me there, David) and mainly lots of quiet movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being stranded in Bolivia without money.
Seeing the spectacular landscape of the Andes near Salta.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Chile, China, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Uruguay, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
