ABOUT ME

At the moment me and my boyfriend are traveling around the world for 1 year! We quit our jobs, left our flat, packed up our lives and set off. We havent done any couch surfing yet but have only heard good things so we wanna experience it! Love the idea for meeting so many different types of people and experiencing their lives.

As a couple, we have been together for 5 years, im from Northern Ireland and John-Paul (JP) is from Portugal. We met in Jersey, in the Channel Islands, which is were we now live, when we arent traveling :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be a good person everyday! I was brought up in a christian home although im not a christian at the minute. University changed me and opened my eyes to different people. I try not to judge, i accept people how they are. We both believe in Karma and think that everything happens for a reason!(Helen)

This is a hard question, I'm not a religious person but I try to be a good person(which I am)
I didn't go to university but life has been a good school.(JP)

Well, me(JP) I have loads of interests, travelling, percussion, juggling, a good pint and a good laugh, cooking good food, and I would like to learn how to play guitar.
But for me everyday is a school day!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, especially since we came away! Best books ive read are The Kite Runner, Pay it forward, The 5 people you meet in heaven...i could go on!! Love going to the cinema too, not fussed on girly films, i like a good thriller!(Helen)

reading is not my thing(I just can't concentrate)
I love a good movie, Tarantino movies are the best.
I love music to, preferences depends on the mood.(JP)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling has been amazing so far, I'm still young and i know they'll be lots more amazing things to come :-)

Well, I'm not as young as Helen :) but traveling has been the best experience so far, i love it and probably could do it forever( if I had the money) :)

What a question! I dunno. Im not sure i have anything to teach anyone! I want to learn lots and i will share anything i can.(Helen)

I like to learn new things anytime, can someone teach me how to play guitar, please!!!! I teach you all I know :) (JP)
