ABOUT ME
After doing some travelling after college and working various kinds of opportunities, I am now doing a year of service in my home state of Maryland for the Chesapeake Conservation Corps. I am working with my favorite Baltimore non-profit, Parks and People, on various youth greening projects. My job is great. I'm pretty settled here for at least a year, which is how long my program is. Even though I grew up super close to Baltimore, this is the first time in my life I have actually explored the city, and I have been pleasantly surprised a lot.
PHILOSOPHY
I've been coming to realize it is not only possible, but necessary, that you live your dreams in order to be happy.
Also, don't let anyone tell you that life is not a party. Because it is. I mean it may not always be fun, but you can make it so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have used Couchsurfers in San Francisco and Copenhagen during my travels last year and I've met some great people through it. Now I'd like to host people at my house. We are in the process of getting a futon for our living room, but I also have a spacious room and our house is pretty transient friendly, so there are always options.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted someone I met off of couchsurfers when I worked on a farm in Willits, California, through in Copenhagen through this, with an amazing couple who went out of their way to show me around their city. They were also fantastic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's all highly subjective, but recently I saw Prince in concert. That was pretty amazing. If we hang out I'll tell you more about my recent travels.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll tell you whatever you want to know about my experience with environmental non-profits such as Greenpeace. Also, I will give you an earful about the potential for human extinction and human development. You know. Hopefully, at some point after working on the farm for a little while, I could teach you how to make goat cheese. I could also teach you how to play the harmonica.
