About Me

CURRENT MISSION

stop being lazy, update my profile and interact more with the CS community

ABOUT ME

3 random things:

My favorite hobby is playing electric guitar, learning musical theory and different types of music. I kinda feel bad if I don't play a little everyday...

Love swimming too! And traning my lungs, to see how far I can go without swimming. I really like stuff that tests my limits, such as martial arts or extreme sports.

I also like learning different languages, meeting different people and doing different stuff. Routine kinda bores me.

I can try to describe myself, but I guess it's always better to meet people, be yourself and learn what they think about you... if you're reading this, hope we meet someday!

PHILOSOPHY

Certain things can't be verbalized: no two people are the same, but there are certain thoughts, beliefs, feelings, that we all share, in some "universal language" that can't simply be described in words (or are described in many different words and verbalized beliefs that ultimately are the same at their core). Rationally, none of this ("life" at it's broadest meaning) makes sense. But I believe we're all connected. "Why" or "how" we are connected... can't be verbalized, just felt. So I guess my religion is "insanely curious", and my faith is what can be called "intuition" or "following your guts"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Pedra da Gávea trail, in Rio de Janeiro. Just went there a few years ago with other couchsurfers. The view is so amazing, I'm still feeling mesmerized...
gonna go up again on march 12th, if you're in Rio, join me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: tsuru origami, brazilian portuguese (and carioca slangs), english (but if you're reading this you probably already know), a little bit of german and french (I'll have to study again to "unrust" hehe), how to "think" in different languages, how to play electric guitar (and some acoustic too), musical theory (mainly applied to guitar), how to make a 45 minute pizza, how to appreciate landscapes, different types of music, building a talkbox, a pseudo-antropologic view to life and the people around us, some stuff to do/places to go in Rio de Janeiro. I am willing to share all my curious-nerdy-skeptic-dreamy-musical knowledge with you!

Learn: as many languages as I can learn, as deep as I can learn them! Different types of local music (and if possible, how to play them on a guitar); cooking; more about photography; radical sports; different views of life (specially philosophically and antropologically); how to live without money (that's a big one... please share if you know!). I'm willing to be like a sponge and absorb all knowledge from you!

Share: laughs, different views on life, knowledge, culture, information... take turns as a sponge and it's brain food feeder!
