ABOUT ME

I have not been as active in this community for a little while and would like to start getting more involved again. I grew up in Durango, Colorado and recently moved to Portland, Oregon. I love Oregon and have meet so many amazing people and I can't wait to meet more.
I am an realistic optimist, and a cynic with a good imagination. I really love riding my bike around Portland and seeing all there is to discover. Growing up in a more rural community I long for open spaces so I need to escape from the city quite frequently.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been very inactive in the community lately. I became involed orginally for a paper that I wrote in college. I have never had a negative experience and I can't wait to start being more active.

The outdoors, reading/learning, playing, umm I've also been known to party.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read it is one of my favorite activities. Some of my favorite authors include: Bukowski, Palanuik, Kafka, Jonathon Safron Foer, Vonnegut, Thompson, Jean Thompson, Sallinger, etc...
As for music some of my favorite bands are: The Whitest Boy Alive, The Mountain Goats, Cold War Kids, MGMT, Tapes n' Tapes, Vampire Weekend, The Go Team, Cage, Built to Spill, Silversun Pickups, Clapton, Dylan, Nico, Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, Citizen Cope, The Shins,The Pixies, etc...
Movies I don't really watch very many movies or tv.
