I grew up in a racially segregated society during the 60's
so the Military draft for vietnam effected me as well as the materialism of north america that causes people to look at what a person is rather than who they are . I had high hopes for change in all areas but less than I like has changed (dateing practices for example )

hospitality club yes as well as
a member of servas-- in 79 when i lived in Poland
and servas was underground so the concept is more than 3 decades for me more dependance on letter writing and a personal interview than quick emails and phone calls
