I did quite some couchsurfing in the USA in summer '09 and thereafter and had a blast every single time! I love returning the favor in Amsterdam.

Interests

I'm a real music lover. I write about music, have a radio program about alternative music in The Netherlands and do some DJing at local parties.
Also, I like topics regarding Artificial Intelligence (which I study) and watch a lot of TV series, like Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Parks & Recreation, The Wire or Arrested Development

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my life. I see live bands more than once every week and can't het enough of it.

The most impressive movie ever made is Requiem For A Dream to me, it really made an impact on me.

My favourite book is probably The Collector by John Fowles, I love how both views are so human and yet so different.

Winter 2008/2009: volunteerwork in Senegal with a group of Dutch students and a group of Senegalese people.
