ABOUT ME

I'm 30 years old. I spent most of my time working as a television reporter. I became a journalist because I love to met new people and to hear their stories.
When I'm not busy working, I 'long distance study' International Relations at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. I don't go as often as I should but I try:-)

I love music and in my spare time I am a volenteer at a local concert hall - a great way to get new friends, cheap beer and free concerts!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a big fan of Couch Surfing and the idea of staying with local people when I'm travelling. For me a big part of a travel experience is to learn about the people and the culture, and not just to take pictures of famous buildings :-)

I have been both hosting and surfing - alone, with my brother, with my ex-boyfriend... Every single couch surfing experience has been great! Right now I am not able to host, as I commute a lot - working ind different parts of the country, writing ny masters thesis and stuff, but I will be back :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Gunung Bromo i Java, Indonesia, with my brother and our Indonesian friend in the middle of the night to see an amazing sunrise...

For six months I lived in a poor Russian ghetto in Tallinn, Estonia, where I studied. An great and weird experience, and an amazing way to get to know Estonian life outside the picturesque Old Town..

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to crochet, sew, do cross stitches and eat too much candy - and I love to do that in the company of other crafty people, who can teach me new things and get great ideas :-) I am also interested in updating my language skills - so just come and talk to me :-)
