About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to explore the world!
ABOUT ME
I discovered couch surfing while I was visiting friends in Beijing almost 10 years ago. Everyone was so nice and friendly, and I had a great time going to karaoke with the CS group!
I moved to Rhode Island shortly after, fell in love with Providence, met my husband and have settled down right outside the city. My main goal in life continues to be to travel and see and understand as much of the world as I can.
In addition to traveling, I like to stay in shape by running, swimming, hiking, and yoga. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, and photography. I am a bit of a foodie and also enjoy trying beer and wine.
PHILOSOPHY
live and let live
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to meet fellow couchsurfers from around the world and share stories. I'm up for exploring new areas or grabbing a coffee or a beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I was in Beijing, my friends hosted their first couchsurfer, and it was a great experience for all of us! We also met up with the local couchsurfers network and I got to meet people from all over the world. Later, I hosted some couch surfers and showed them around my city.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I am not much of a movie person, but I usually like comedies or a good drama that makes you think.
Music: rock and alternative. I enjoy pretty much anything except country.
Books: I don’t read them very often, but when I do, I usually choose non-fiction to try to learn something
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, my husband and I completed the 4 day Inca Trail to Macchu picchu. It was my first time doing any sort of a through hike. I loved the views, nature, getting off the grid, and meeting fellow adventurers on the trail. It has changed the way I want to travel going forward.
