ABOUT ME

**Don't trust the 'last login' thing. If I'm at home in Montreal, it thinks I'm in Toronto, for some reason.**

In June 2009 I got my bachelor's degree in Feminist Studies, and I took a year off, volunteering and learning outside of school. Now I'm working on a master's program in Information Sciences at the University of Montreal. I want to be a librarian and a writer, and to travel. I've been studying French since 2001 and Japanese since 2007, and for my last two years of university I lived in a francophone household. I'm a vegetarian.

J'ai fini mon bachelor's en juin 2009 et j'ai pris un an pour faire du bénévolat et apprendre en dehors de l'école. Je fais une maîtrise en sciences de l'information à l'Université de Montréal. J'étudie le français depuis 2001 et le japonais depuis 2007 et mes deux dernières années d’université j'ai habité dans une maison francophone. Je suis végétarienne.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live, but stand up for yourself. Everyone has the right to food, shelter, health care, and freedom - now if only governments would realize that!

I couchsurfed in Montréal last summer. I liked that I got to spend several days in the same place, and getting to know the people a bit.
