About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live. Love. Still trying to nail down the rest.

ABOUT ME

People say I am laid back and easy going, but those who really know me know better:). I am friendly and don't usually bite. Unless aggravated.

Re-writing my book as you read this.

I really want to get to Guatemala in the near future to study spanish, then hope to bus up thru central america.

And just started homebrewing beer!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and learn. We all make so many mistakes, and that's OK. No one is even close to perfect.

Do the best you can, no more, no less.

Couchsurfing!(It's a philosophy right?)

I thrive on spending time with others. One of my biggest fears is being alone. At least long term. Couchsurfing helps take care of the short term! I have met, and hope to meet many more incredibly caring, thoughtful, daring, fun loving people through this site, and am just getting started!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host whenever I can and crash with anyone who will have me. Have been fairly active with the incredible group of couchsurfers here in Charleston, SC!(We are always up to something...)Offer free "tips" to travellers! Here are a few right now! 1. Do not eat at Hyman's Seafood. It is way overated, and their food is not that great. Instead, try Cru Cafe(actually in an old home in Charleston, and AMAZING food!), The Lost Dog(on Folly Beach, I could live in that restaurant. SO great.), and Hominy Grill(try the big nasty!).2. If you like the beach, head to Folly. THE coolest beach in town. Followed closely by Sullivan's Island.3. If you are given to outdoor activity, take on the Cooper River Bridge. There is a really nice bike/running lane that is close to 2 miles one way. A very nice uphill climb and view from the top await you!4. If you have time, walk King, Market, and East Bay Streets. LOTS of great bars/restaurants, and a nice night life as well!5. Battery park, and waterfront park are beautiful. Feel free to walk around the College of Charleston as well.(I was lucky enough to attend this incredible university!)If you need more ideas, call me! 843-437-5131. P.S. Some new favorites in town are The Early Bird Diner, The Shelter, Macintosh, Rutledge Cab Company, and for drinks, Closed for Business and most anywhere and upper King St!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Jacksonville FL, Charlotte NC, Savannah GA, and Grand Rapids MI. And had a chance to host some really incredible individuals.

Love to travel(surprise). Learn new languages. Skydive. Run. Bike. Play guitar. Listen to music. Go to live shows. Read. Movies. Hang with my pup. Walking(anywhere, and often). Any kind of physical activity really. Just have to be doing SOMETHING.
