ABOUT ME

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, a world away from my current home.

I love hiking, kayaking, and climbing to the top of moderately sized mountians in foreign countries. I used to do a lot of backpacking, and I'd like to get back into that.

On the geekier side of things, I like language, literature, and computers. I've run Linux full time for years, and I occasionally do graphics design work for friends.

I support my travels and studies with teaching, content writing, and/or tutoring.

PHILOSOPHY

When in doubt, err on the side of adventure. Try new things, even if you don't know how they will come out. But always have a backup plan. And always have other options to work with in case your backup plan fails.
